Decided to order my first suit and two hoods via Kink Projects because they offer Latex for a affordable price and cool designs. I was looking to get a specific Dainese design for my first suit which they offer, also a affordable price and the option to get the suit chlorinated.
I had a good experience placing my order and also putting in a change when I found out I made a mistake right after placing my order.
In the end I ordered 1 Made-to-Measure catsuit and 2 hoods. Asked for chlorination for the suit, talcum powder finish for the hoods.
Official lead time for M2M is 9-13 weeks according to their site. 2 more in my case because I decided for chlorination.
I decided I would ask for an update after 7 weeks, 10 weeks and 13 weeks after ordering. Just to make sure, I already read lead times could be a few months.
Thought this would be valid time to check on the status given the info on their website. I fully accepted it could take a while, as others mentioned before I also made a conscious choice based on cost.

So this is the timeline for my order. 1 M2M catsuit and 2 hoods:
2023-06-27 – Ordered
2023-06-28 – Successfully requested a color change for one of the hoods
2023-08-14 – Requested an update. Just to make sure everything was/is on track
2023-08-15 – Automated e-mail update
> Order status changed to: “Pattern making”
2023-08-22 – Received non-automated response to my earlier e-mail telling me shipping would probably be around the end of October, because of public holidays impacting production schedules
2023-09-12 – Requested an update. Just to make sure everything was/is on track
2023-09-12 – Got a reply that the shipping date was still set to the end of October
2023-10-04 – Requested another update since the status of the order was still ‘Pattern making’ to verify if shipping at the end of October would be possible
2023-10-05 – Got a reply that shipping has shifted to November
2023-11-06 – Automated e-mail update
> Order status changed to: “Assembling and gluing”
2023-11-21 – Automated e-mail update
> Order status changed to: “Quality checking and packing”
2023-11-24 – Automated e-mail update
> Order status changed to: “Shipped”

Considering I ordered M2M with chlorination it should have taken 15 weeks according to their site. This turned out to be 23 weeks or about 5 months.
So all in all you can expect a 20+ week lead time. Based on my own experience and also what I read in other posts.
The product I got was good quality and I am very happy with my purchase, just don’t expect it within the time frame mentioned on their site. And again the price is very good.
I could not help myself so even though I had a trip planned the next morning I tried it on right away.
